Still slow progress on Ashcroft Hall

I have been able to do some painting this week. It is taking sooo long to paint the window arches. They need sanding twice between each paint. My son came along the other day and did an inspection!! He said I needed to do an even better job to get it really smooth. Such a hard task maker.

Last night I fitted the windows in and the edges all needed sanding to get a good fit. I will put the acrylic glass in near the end of the project so as not to mark them as you can see from the pictures it is beginning to look like a house.

The pictures show the windows fitted and my paint brushes full of Almomd White paint being used on the front door. Very fiddly. The balconies are also ready to fit. The black paint job was horrible.

I am away for a week so will not be updating for a little while. I am getting so close to start on the decor. Can't wait!!
